Darling Harbour Sets the Stage

Sydney’s brand spanking new convention centre is well on track for its highly anticipated completion in December this year, and is set to become the city’s prime meeting space and hub for innovation, learning and entertainment.

Set against the backdrop of Sydney’s iconic city skyline, the International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) will enjoy a prime waterfront location on dynamic Darling Harbour, and feature striking contemporary design, leading technology, multi-purpose spaces and indoor and outdoor networking areas.

Ideal for large-scale events, ICC Sydney will boast a total exhibition capacity of 35,000 square meters, an external event deck including a bar and lounge featuring spectacular views, a premier red carpet theatre, a grand ballroom, 70 meeting room spaces, state-of-the-art technology, a luxury hotel, and more.

Part of the NSW Government’s $3.4 billion revitalisation of Darling Harbour, which will see improved accessibility, expanded green spaces and additional dining and shopping venues across the precinct, ICC Sydney will have the best of the city within walking distance, with myriad of restaurants, bars, hotels and attractions on its front doorstep.

Meanwhile across the harbour, Four Points by Sheraton Sydney, Darling Harbour, is also making headway with its own multi-million dollar revitalisation and is set to open in June. The expansion will add a third tower of 222 extra guestrooms, an expansive convention and exhibition space featuring floor to ceiling glass of uninterrupted water views, two ballrooms and state-of-the-art technology, while the hotel’s open rooftop bar, Bar Eleven, will provide guests with an alternative outdoor venue for special occasions, meetings and events.
