Inspired by L’Aquitaine in South West France, this riverside dining experience brings together a journey from the Farm House to the Champs Elysees. Aquitaine Brasserie’s contemporary French menu is based on classic French recipes and is brought to life with fresh local produce and modern cooking techniques.

Aquitaine Brasserie menus celebrate French culture, passion and love. A heavy focus on the finest local ingredients dominates the dishes, pared with an intriguing wine list to satisfy even the most adventurous foodies.

Nestled in the south west of France, the French region of Aquitaine is known for its ardent love of provincial fare and local wine. Journey halfway around the world to River Quay, and you’ll find a casual brasserie that embraces the food culture of Aquitaine with gusto.

At Aquitaine Brasserie experience riverside dining on River Quay, a premium-dining destination. From the sweeping green of the purpose-built outdoor amphitheatre, to the stunning Brisbane skyline and river, nowhere else can you experience Brisbane so spectacularly, day or night.

A slightly more casual take on French dining, Aquitaine Brasserie revels in creating traditional French cuisine from fresh local Queensland ingredients. Head Chef Damon Porter has created a perfectly balanced menu that will appeal to all discerning diners. The wine list intrigues with the positioning of French and local wines together in a regional style, categorised by palate characteristics rather than varietals. The cocktail list and spirit selection has a real French influence, while Aquitaine maintains an agreement to see direct importing of French produced Kronenbourg draft beer.

Let the intricate detailing of the restaurant’s interior catch your eye as you enjoy a classic bouillabaisse, or sit outside in the picturesque setting and savour a meal steeped in culinary tradition.

Alfresco Riverside

With an expansive layout, Aquitaine Brasserie has separate areas for 30 to 100 guests, or up to 200 cocktail style. With views of the Goodwill Bridge and city and water views, it is sure to relax and impress locals and visitors alike.

Private Mezzanine

Above the general dining area, an open mezzanine soaks up the best 180 degree views. Catering for up to 20, their inspired menus can be served traditionally or with a mix of shared courses.
